My Name is Gheorghe Dobrescu and I am the only writer of Audiophile-Heaven, and the Director of the Seventh Heart Studios Visual Novel Studio. Most people call me George, and you can feel free to do as well! I also work as the cinematic programmer, and I am the writer for Quantum Magica. My life is a lot about games, programming, taking photos, drawing and doing geeky work. I spend eight hours a day working on a computer. I also take care of administrative work for my company, which means that I require both a portable listening setup while out and about, but also a professional desktop setup when at home.
My listening volume ranges from “please stop that, it’s far too loud” to “I can’t even tell that you’re listening to music”. It tends to be more often in the limits of “too loud” rather than “too quiet” as I like to enjoy my music to the fullest.
My listening plate includes everything from Classical to Metal, from Rap to Pop, from Punk to Cabaret and absolutely everything in between. There are great artists from every type of music, and I’m one to collect their albums, and keep a tidy order for my files. Recently, I also started using some light streaming services for discovering new music.
I tend to favor a clear, clean, detailed, dynamic and energetic sound, but I can enjoy a romantic and sweet sound as well. I can also appreciate a rich & Lush Presentation, and won’t shy away from really bright if it is well done, but my overall direction is to seek the ultimate detail, ultimate resolution, clarity and transparency. As I work a lot with sound design, mixing and mastering both for games and other projects, I value the technical abilities of each bit of equipment, but still enjoy the coloration of commercial products and can have fun with them when listening for leisure. I would say that studio work is more than half of my ear time now, so the cleaner, more defined, and the lower the resolution a product has, the more I can appreciate it.
At Seventh Heart Studios, we all love music and this has had an impact on our games as we hold the music close to our hearts and we are committed to only use ogg -q10 as the encoding format for our music since it offers the best disk space to sound quality ratio. OGG -q10 being closest to audibly transparent when compared to FLAC encoding.

Personal philosophy: Music is more than a hobby or the raw sound. Music is inspiration. Music is life. Music has meaning by itself, being the most intimate thing that can define one’s life while shaping one’s imagination and creativity. Music can open doors and can change one’s view about life.
Music can rest the mind better than days of sleep, and can give one energy, better than a thousand cups of coffee. Music can be anything we want it to be and the music we experience using professional audition tools is more but at the same time it is nothing more than our way of enhancing the emotion we get from music.
I believe that music doesn’t replace humain emotion or contact and it shouldn’t replace your interaction with others, being an enhancer more than anything – try to listen to and enjoy music while being with your loved ones – music can only be truly tasted with people who can also enjoy it.
We will be using the following ranges in most of our reviews. Alotugh those frequencies are ranges and don’t have an absolute cutoff point, the error margin is within 10 Hz for bass, within 100 Hz for midrange and within 1000 Hz for the treble regions, as our hearing can more accurately discern a certain frequency lower than it can higher.
20 Hz – 45 Hz – Sub Bass Range
45 Hz – 80 Hz Main Bass Body / Just Bass
80 Hz – 250 Hz – Upper Bass
250 Hz – 600 Hz – Lower Midrange
600 Hz – 1400 Hz – Midrange
1400 Hz – 4500 Hz – Upper Midrange
4500 Hz – 9000 Hz – Lower Treble
9000 Hz – 14000 Hz – Treble
1400 Hz – 20 kHz – Upper Treble / Air

Links
Some of the product links that appear on www.audiophile-heaven.com and on youtube, on www.youtube.com/c/AudiophileHeaven are affiliate links. All the money coming purchasing through an affiliate program is invested in better equipment for me to review. This will include the equipment necessary to take photos, measurements, videos, etc. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Part of this money is also donated to helping animals (I’m a huge animal lover too), especially to dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, pigeons, and other animals that we can lend a hand towards. Some of the money gained is also used for managing Audiophile-Heaven, which has costs (like hosting, etc.)
If you can use any of those links, it would help me greatly. You won’t lose anything, and I will be able to support my passion for audio, and provide you with better content, both of us having something to gain. Sometimes you’ll get promotional prices and purchasing a product through the links shown on www.audiophile-heaven.com usually means purchasing at the best price international markets can give you. As an Amazon Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases.
Audiophile-Heaven is not a shop, and we do not sell any products on any platform. Our sources of income are the Amazon Affiliate links present throughout Audiophile-Heaven, the ads you see on the main Audiophile-Heaven website, and the video ads you see on YouTube. I also accept tips and gifts if you send them to this address https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/AudiophileHeaven . Please do not follow anyone who is pretending to be Audiophile-Heaven on secondhand markets, and please let me know if you see such things. Also, all communications with Audiophile-Heaven are done over one of the two mail addresses we use officially, and which are noted above.

We listened to more songs than those named in this playlist, but those are excellent for identifying a sonic signature. I recommend trying most of the songs from this playlist, especially if you’re searching for new music! The playlists are different for Spotify, Tidal and Youtube, and based on the songs I enjoy and are available on each!
