Wonders of the Gray Magnetic Switch – Yunzii RT75 Magnetic Gaming Keyboard
Yunzii RT75 is a $89 USD magnetic keyboard using rapid trigger magnetic switches, having a volume wheel or knob, and a 75% layout. Today we will review the RT75 and study how well it works for gaming, typing, programming an whether it would be a nice option for someone who wants a good but affordable mechanical keyboard.
Introduction
YunZii is one of those keyboard makes that has really good models, low prices and reliable keyboards, but who’s often not seen enough, as they are somewhat new and don’t have too many products designed yet. As an Amazon Influencer, I earn from qualifying purchases, and using the purchase links in my reviews helps me maintain this website and Youtube Channel. Huge thanks to YunZii for providing us with the sample for this review.
PROs – The smoothest typing experience possible, extreme precision and low miss rate, outstanding quality for the switches, nice RGB, low price, very good looks.
Cons – No Wifi option, extremely loud and clicky sound, flexes when bent, very sharp edges for the default keycaps.

Build Quality/Aesthetics
Yunzii RT75 is part of the new line YunZii keyboards designed for magnetic hall switches, and to be honest those switches are the main reason I even started reviewing keyboards, and YunZii keyboards in particular, as I was too excited and too curious to get my hands on some of those keyboards, and Keychron did not yet have the magnetic hall switch line ready. Happily, KeyChron has a line of HE switches too, and we will see how they compare when that one arrives.
Until then, though, the Rapid Trigger switches used on the RT75 are some of the most interesting ones available on the market, and going back to full mechanical keyboards feels a bit like a chore from a typing perspective. The RT75 model has Full RGB support for the backlight, and a gray design that feels retro and vintage.
As with most keyboards designed around Magnetic Switches, RT75 is not compatible with any other switches, but you can set the rapid trigger range to start at 0.1mm, the lowest for any keyboard, and they have a full travel length of 4mm. The bottom-out force is 60gf, so those switches feel really heavy to type on, and while you can configure the travel distance, you cannot configure the force needed to press on those switches. Switch lifetime is 100.000.000 presses, which is one of the longest of any type of switch, and Yunzii has Pre-Lubed switches and stabilizers.
We have NKRO full anti-ghosting, you can use the volume wheel to either set the brightness of the keyboard or the volume of your system. You can set it to work with windows or mac, and Yunzii includes multiple silicone pads, damping foams, along with kickstands that will increase the anling of the keyboard to sit more ergonomic for your hands.
There’s a couple of replacement switches for the WASD keys, but I prefer the default ones, although this cherry profile keycap set the company uses is really sharp and hard on my fingers.
Subjective Usage / Sound Quality
From a subjective point of view, I love that I can angle the keyboard from the factory, but it is wired only, so I would like a wireless version. RT75 is incredibly light, made of plastic, and you can flex it quite heavily if you push with your entire strength, but that will not be an issue with most standard usage. It actually goes back to its original shape even if you bend it out of shape, the material is elastic despite being named plastic, so you shouldn’t have to worry about it.
The feeling of typing on it is sublime from a typing perspective, those magnetic switches are much smoother than anything I have ever tested on a mechanical keyboard, but they are extremely hard to press, and at 60 gf, they play in the heavy to very heavy ranges for typing, being uncomfortable even from just tying this review, as I got pretty serious pain in my fingers.
Sound of rT75 is a high-pitched clicky sound, it is more of a clicky sound like with mechanical clicky switches, but the stab quality is outstanding. The RGB color effect is nice, but the keycaps are not shine-through. Overall, for my personal preference I would much rather prefer a far lighter version with easier to type on switches, and a lower noise level.
You can fully customize the keyboard using the Web Software, which is extra nice, and the delay is low at 4-6ms, but from what I understand, if you install the custom firmware for having Rapid Trigger you cannot go back to the standard firmware, so be careful with your choice there.
For programming, the RT75 keyboard is excellent, very precise, and as I type far less than when writing a review, my fingers do not get fatigued easily, and the increased typing accuracy reduces frustration with my code a lot.
For gaming, I find the RT75 to be excellent, I do not feel finger fatigue at all, and it has a very precise actuation with a very low latency, leading to an outstanding gaming experience. The overall experience is that RT75 is great for gaming and programming, but it is good for typing only if you know you love heavyweight switches.
Value and Conclusion
YunZii RT75 is an affordable keyboard with excellent value, especially if you want a clicky sound and heavy switch set, because it does have the smoothest, most pleasing typing experience possible. Ten times smoother and more reliable than keyboards based on Gateron Black switches, even smoother than EverGlide Aqua King V3, and with a more accurate typing experience.
At the end of the day, for an outstanding gaming and programming experience, YunZii RT75 is a neatly affordable, retro-vintage looking keyboard with great support and for a Hall Effect or HE based keyboard, it uses the full potential of the switches inside.
